My name is Shane Beschen, I live on the North Shore of Hawaii with my wife Sofia and my two sons Noah and Koda. I have been a professional surfer for the past 20 years and now I find myself teaching my sons and all their friends how to surf and skate. The B.Y.C. stands for The Beschen Youth Compound, and it's just a funny nickname for the Beschen's house, which is an acre of land right across the street from the gnarliest stretch of beach in the world. On a daily basis we have kids going crazy at our house, skating,  flipping on the trampoline, playing video games, surfing across the street or just running around. This blog is about living and raising kids in an action sports environment, having fun, and focusing on the importance of family.

After watching Shane tame a few deep tubes.... Gorkin decided to stand up and go get pitted..... Aaron Cormican at backdoor training for more tube time....
Gorkin also tears up the lips of every wave he surfs......
Not to mention the air time he has stacked up over the past 10 years.....

This past spring LOST ENTERPRISES sent Aaron "Gorkin" Cormican to Hawaii to get some shots and footage for The 08 ad campaigne. Shane had Pat "Tupat" Eichstaedt fly over with The Gorkin to get some work done and here are a few of our shots from the action. Enjoy
